Ranch Vacations

Stay for a weekend, or stay for a week (or even two!) We offer two cozy, authentic log cabins nestled in the foothills of the Rockies right beside Kananaskis Country. They come with full kitchen, television/VCR (for DVD and VHS movies only, no satellite hookup), loft, and a great view. The surrounding area offers great photographic opportunities. Whether you’re a horse enthusiast or just want to strap on your hiking boots and head up the ridge into Kananaskis country, this is the perfect place for families or a romantic and relaxing getaway. If you’re a cross- country ski enthusiast or enjoy skating, we’re only 5 km. from the Sandy McNabb Recreation Area.

We offer 2 hour, 3 hour and day rides into the foothills around the ranch. If you’re wanting to get up to a higher elevation, then our Mountain Day Ride will offer you elevations of up to 7500′. You can come back to the cabin for a shower and relaxation after your ride.

Nearby golfing, mountain biking, cross-country skiing, fishing, hiking, swimming, shopping, restaurants. We’re within 1 to 2 hours drive from Head-Smashed-InBuffalo Jump, Remington-Alberta Carriage Museum, Glenbow Museum, CalgaryStampede, and other attractions in the area.

If you can't place us _ and I can';t hold that against you _ we were the rag-tag Aussie family you provided such a great day for early in December. Honestly, couldn't have come up with a better way to spend a winter day. It really was a highlight of the whole Alberta experience.
