Trail riding is the perfect way to get a taste of cowboy life when you only have a bit of time to spare or are new to horseback riding. Be our guest for two or three hours of horseback riding in the breathtaking high foothills that surround our ranch. The trails will take you all the way to the top of ridges, treating you to scenic trails and overlooks along the way. Or you can splash across the Sheep River to explore even more incredible country, before winding your way back to the ranch.
Be sure to bring your camera because you will certainly want to snap pictures of the Rocky Mountains, foothills and prairies that you will encounter along the way.
If you would like to bring along a water bottle, you are welcome to do so.
Departure Times and Ride Options
The 2 hour and half day (3 hour) rides depart at 10am or 2pm daily weather permitting. Times are subject to change so please confirm the time of your ride at booking.
Heartland fans please note: we are located near where the show films and our 2 and 3 hour rides on the ridges around the ranch allow you to experience the general area where filming takes place but you cannot view the ranch or the set from our rides.
Please be sure everyone in your party is prepared to ride, once you are at the ranch and checked in the ride is nonrefundable.
