A full day of horseback riding in the high mountains west of the ranch. Includes lunch. Available mid-May to mid-September, year-round options are available but are weather dependent.
After meeting at the ranch to sign in and meet your horse for our mountain day rides, we will have you follow us to the trailhead. Here we will unload and mount you up on your horse, for an incredible day of horseback riding at elevations of up to 8000′. We can start at Indian Oils trailhead to go over spectacular Bluerock Mountain; Junction trailhead to Junction Canyon, or Volcano Ridge Trail to the top of Mount Ware. No matter where we end up, they are all amazing rides!
A “saddle-bag lunch” will be served at the side of the trail, and will consist of sandwiches, fruit, dessert and a drink.
*Because this ride is all day and there can be some challenging terrain it is not recommended for complete beginner riders.
