Six Days of Mountain Day Rides

Meanwhile, Back at the Ranch is unique to the other horseback vacations we have to offer. Instead of roughing it in the mountain camps, you’ll stay at our beautiful log ranch house or cozy log cabins. Enjoy hot showers, comfy beds and delicious meals when you’re back from your day rides in the Rockies. Each morning we’ll truck the horses to the trail head so that we can ride the high ridges, rivers, falls, lakes and canyons of the mountains. Enjoy your lunch while taking in the breathtaking views, a number of different mountain ranges and high mountain lakes.

The while experience was wonderful from start to finish! The best guest ranch site and experience I have ever had! Highly recommend this ranch to anyone! I plan to visit again!
Thank you to Vic and the ladies for showing us the ropes and keeping us safe. Thanks to Earl and Jimmy our faithful steeds! This was exactly what I needed a day back to my horse roots. It could not have been better!

Amazing! One of the most memorable and talked about experiences I have had. We could not have wanted a more amazing experience exploring the mountains by horseback. Great horses, guides, employees, accommodations, food and education. Hope to go back again one day.

Just recently returned from a week staying at the ranch, in Grandpa's cabin. A very nice cabin for watching the horses come down to the ranch in the morning after spending the night in the hills. Also, sitting on the porch, with coffee, and watching the sun rise over the eastern hill behind the ranch, over the beautiful stand of Aspen trees, was a particularly enjoyable morning routine. It's such beautiful country there in the rolling foothills of the Rocky Mountains. All in all, it was a very memorable week spent at the ranch.

Thank you so much for a most excellent stay. Your ranch is a little piece of heaven and we were thrilled to spend such a splendid vacation there.

I wanted to send you a note to let you all know what a wonderful time we had at Anchor D in early June. Staying in the Hunter`s Cabin was a perfect fit (comfortable bed and deep claw-foot tub), and your hospitality was second to none. Meals were delicious and plentiful (thank you Kelly and Katy) and your company was warm and welcoming at all times. Thank you Dewy for inviting us into your home and family and thank you all for a wonderful riding experience. I will highly recommend you to all my friends and family (and anyone else that cares to listen), and I will be back.
