The Newest Of Our 7-Day Trips

The North Rim to Ranch Ride was developed to offer new country and different riding opportunities to those of you who return year after year. It has also become popular with our new guests, and this ride now has rave reviews from all over the world as it incorporates two of the most breathtaking high mountain rides we have.

This 7-day horseback riding vacation starts at the North Rim of our mountain area on the Little Elbow and works it’s way south through three major river drainages and five different mountain ranges, ambling into the ranch on the last day. We roll into two different high mountain camps during the 7 days as well as spending the last night at the ranch in our guest cabins.

Although the newest of our 7-Day Trips, North Rim to Ranch has proven to be a rip snorting success. Our guests are absolutely awe-struck with the scenery and it will be in high demand again for this year. Don’t miss it!

Please note that while we highly recommend helmets we do not supply them because they need to be professionally fitted, so if you wish to wear one or have your child wear one, you will need to bring it with you.

We’ll explore some rugged trails and breathtaking scenery in the Rockies. Journey beyond the familiar as you get to know your horse and ford the frontier.

Price includes all meals, horses, cooks, wranglers, accommodation, cots and foamies, and all the fun you can stand!

Thank you so much for the mind-blowing trip and your big-hearted hospitality! I was most grateful to settle back into my room Sunday night and kick back with your Anchor D family eating a wonderful turkey feast. It was the magical cap on an exceptional 7-day trip. I just loved every second of the trip, particularly bearing witness to Bandit's manoeuvres, negotiating at times what seemed to be impassable terrain....but not for my pony! Bandit was awesome and I had brand new experiences jumping logs, leaping up river banks & hills, loping and galloping! Woo Hoo!
I will try to dress the part next time instead of looking like an English riding yoga instructor. Ha! Thank you for allowing me to tick another great adventure off my extremely long bucket list.

We wanted to tell you that we talk about the trip everyday - multiple times and actually hunt people down to tell them about it. We had such a super time. Great team of people there at Anchor D. Jessa effortlessly fed us all and it was always nice to see her at the end of a long day (and at the beginning of a day after a cold night). We laughed so much - we had such a great group.

A wonderful time. There were many memories made in those woods along those streams. There were also a few memories left behind. You folks do it right and I dream of a day I can come back.

I recently took the North Rim to Ranch ride and I can't tell you what an adventure it was to me. The experience was amazing and the wranglers and staff really showed me something to remember for the rest of my life. The horses were almost as impressive as the views... and the hospitality shown to us at the home ranch was an wonderful, unexpected treat. Thank-you!
Happy trails to all of you who work so hard so tourists like me can see things they'd never see otherwise.

It was a spectacular ride on the North Rim to Ranch and we thank you all so much. The wranglers were great and the guests were all so horsey and enjoyable. Not to mention that scenery that goes on forever!!
