It’s a 7-day moving trip, using two teams of draft horses and covered wagons to transport the food, camp and duffle to the two different camps we stay in during the trip. While the wagons roll through the lower elevations, the horseback riders hit the high mountain trails that take you high above timberline, past tumbling mountain streams and through stands of virgin timber following the Continental Divide between Alberta and BC. By the time you get to the next camp, the kitchen tent is set up and a welcome cup of hot coffee is ready for you.
Please check in for your trip at the ranch at 9:30 a.m. on the first day. We supply all your meals, starting with lunch on the first day, and ending with lunch on the last day. We provide the horses, cooks, wranglers, guide, tents, cots with foam mattresses, all your meals and snacks – everything but your sleeping bag and personal gear.
Please note that while we highly recommend helmets we do not supply them because they need to be professionally fitted, so if you wish to wear one or have your child wear one, you will need to bring it with you.
